Synopsis: Rynn Errigal is looking for answers. She has lived her whole life within the walls of the city, protected from the evils of the Mallache Forest, the cursed land where no humans dare enter. But the wall could not protect her from the Silent, the debilitating illness that has plagued the city’s residents for centuries. Now, Rynn must find the cure before it’s too late. Too bad the only person who ever came close to finding a cure was mysteriously lost at sea–her father.

In an attempt to finish his work, Rynn begins to realize that the world she thought she knew was a lie—built on a secret so extraordinary that it will shatter the very foundations of her people. At least, those she thought were her people.

In SILENT, Rynn must come to terms with a natural world beyond the city walls that is nothing like what she was told. It is more beautiful and more terrifying than she could have ever imagined. And she must learn to accept the same in herself.
